The William Floyd High School is accepting nominations for the Distinguished Alumni Award.
This award will honor Alumni for their outstanding contributions made in, but not limited to, the areas of: business, community service, education, journalism, law, medicine, performing arts, public service, science, and visual arts. Characteristics to be given primary consideration will be: academic achievement, as well as professional and/or business achievements and accomplishments, and community or civic consciousness.
A plaque is mounted on the wall of the William Floyd High School’s north lobby for every distinguished alumni member that has been selected since the program began in 2009. The Distinguished Alumni Award program is sponsored by the William Floyd School District and the William Floyd Alumni Association.
