The William Floyd School District, in conjunction with the William Floyd Alumni Association, is working on the construction of an Armed Forces Memorial to honor former William Floyd High School students who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.
The memorial is located on the front lawn outside the north entrance of William Floyd High School surrounded by a brick “Path of Honor” and a “Garden of Hope.” Currently, there are nearly 600 bricks engraved with special messages of gratitude or the name of a special person, family or business.
A dedication ceremony was held on May 27, 2010, at 10:30 am at the William Floyd High School north courtyard. Thank you for your consideration and ongoing support of our students, our schools and our community.
