1. Can anyone join the William Floyd Alumni Association?
A: If you are a graduate of William Floyd High School, you are welcome to join WFAA.
2. Does it cost anything to join?
A: At this time, the membership dues structure is under revision. More information will be released in the fourth
quarter of 2011.
3. What is the purpose of the WFAA?
A: The William Floyd Alumni Association seeks to provide a conduit through which alumni may direct their
charitable activities in support of their school community and its students.
4. Is the WFAA tax-exempt?
A: Yes, the William Floyd Alumni Association is a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) organization.
5. What types of activities does the WFAA participate in?
A: The William Floyd Alumni Association holds annually the "Distinguished Alumni" Awards dinner and "Outstanding
Educators" Awards dinner. We participate in the Athletic Hall of Fame induction, Homecoming and Graduation each
year, and award several general scholarships, and several music scholarships each year. Past endeavors have also
included participating in Earth Day clean-ups, Adopt-a-Family, and several food drives.
