On Saturday, October 22, 2011, the William Floyd Alumni Association will be hosting its 2nd Annual William Floyd
They gave to us tirelessly for many years without any form of recognition from us. They molded us, guided us,
reprimanded us, and allowed us to grow. We hated them and we loved them. We saw them daily for several we
can see how much they gave to us. They made us into the people we are today. Their dedication must not go
unrecognized. They were our Teachers, Administrators, Mentors, and confidants.
Help us to honor, this year, four of our former Teachers, Administrators, and Mentors, who will be presented our
“Outstanding Educators” Award. Mr. Bob Feeney, Ms. Flora Metrick, Ms. Phyllis Siano, and Mr. Phil Scotto
each were an inspiration to many of us and it is now time to show our recognition.
On October 22, 2011 (Homecoming night), join us for our 2nd Annual “Outstanding Educators” Award Recognition
Dinner at 6:30pm at Rock Hill Country Club in Manorville, NY. The cost for this event will be $55.00 per person or
$100 per couple.
The proceeds from this event will go to fund many of our Alumni initiatives such as Scholarships, Community Clean-
ups, Kindergarten Student Gifts, Food Drives, Holiday Adopt-A-Family, and many more. Please help support these
initiatives by attending this and every event so we can continue to provide Alumni services in the future.
