On Saturday, October 22, 2011, the William Floyd Alumni Association will
be hosting its 2nd Annual William Floyd Alumni Association “Outstanding
Educators” Award Dinner. This year's honorees include: Mr. Bob Feeney,
Ms. Flora Metrick, Ms. Phyllis Siano, and Mr. Phil Scotto..
On Saturday, October 23, 2010, the William Floyd Alumni Association held
its 1st Annual “Outstanding Educators” Award Dinner.
The educators and administrators honored were Mr. Bill Hennessy, Mr.
John Raptis, Ms. Karen Poidomani, and Mr. Michael Merolla. The event
began at 6:00 p.m. following the Homecoming game, and was held at Rock
Hill Country Club in Manorville, NY. Approximately 120 guests were in
attendance, including former Floyd alumni, past and present teachers, and
several local politicians.
The proceeds from this event will go to fund many of our Alumni
initiatives such as Scholarships, Community Clean-ups, Kindergarten
Student Gifts, Food Drives, Holiday Adopt-A-Family, and many more.
